Notes :
(1) The Barrow Bridge (between Waterford & Wellington Bridge) suffered serious collision damage from a cargo vessel on Thursday 7th, effectively closing the rail route for some months, necessitating a revised return route for the charter. The original booked route for train B6?? was: Waterford - Wellington Bridge - Rosslare Harbour - Wexford - Bray - Dun Laoghaire - Dublin Connolly however this was then revised to: B555 Waterford - Kilkenny - Limerick Junction - Portarlington - Kildare - Dublin Connolly. Due to late running however on the day, this was further revised to Waterford - Kilkenny - Athy - Kildare - Dublin Connolly.
(2) The stock was delayed, still unserviced, in Dublin Heuston carriage sidings. Due to this delay, the train was to start from Dublin Connolly, and a special (2 car) EMU run in its path from Bray.  This proved to be insufficient for the number of passengers and many had to use the following service train. The train was then inexplicably held in Connolly, being held to follow the 08:40 Sligo service.
(3) Due to the extra delays incurred, the second stage of the tour was terminated at Kildare, the loco change taking place there instead of Dublin Heuston.
(4) The booked locos for the final stage, Waterford - Dublin, 121+133 had been despatched to Dublin Heuston earlier in the day in error. Further delay took place as there was no pilotman immediately available & the revised return time of 16:40 was revised once more, to 17:30
(5) Stena Sealink very kindly held their ferry departure from Dun Laoghaire, as the train terminated at Dublin Connolly and a 4 car DART EMU was provided from there for ferry passengers. Vouchers were issued to passengers towards the eventual re-run of this train.
