Notes :
(1) Recorded as a 'very late' departure from Marylebone on account that the coaching stock had been despatched to Euston not Marylebone! Nick Garnham adds: As you already say, the train was heavily delayed by the ECS being late arriving at Marylebone. With an 08.36 departure booked, the ECS arrived at 09.50 and we eventually left at 10.33. Although our late running was down to 87 minutes by Bletchley Flyover, a points failure saw us back to broadly 2 hours late which we stuck to for most of the day. The letter that accompanied the ticket apologised for alterations to the ‘second half’ of the route, and offered refunds to anyone who decided not to travel. I don’t recall what the original, advertised route was but the route you already show on SBJ is that we travelled, although the timing sheet does show us as traversing the S Yorks Joint to Brancliffe East Jn, and Worksop before reaching Retford, which we omitted.  I believe that was to recover some time.
(2) Booked route was: Kirk Sandall Jn - St Catherines Jn - Firbeck West Jn - Brancliffe East Jn - Worksop - Retford.
