(2) Bernard Mills comments: At Torrington the train
pulled out on to viaduct on the former line to Meeth so that carriages could be
watered from the platform tap, so was certainly the last train on any part of
the former Halwill - Torrington route.
(3) Ian Folland comments: the locos and stock also worked a
Torrington to
Bideford return shuttle during the tour layover at Torrington
(14.00d Torrington to Bideford and return).
