Notes :
(1) During 1982 the 'Cumbrian Mountain Pullman' ran weekly, alternating one week 'northbound' and the following week 'southbound' This was the first run and was 'northbound', the 'southbound' run being on 27th February. On 'northbound' runs passengers from Crewe to Preston & back used service trains.
