Notes :
(1) Nick Lawford confirms this was the last Class 76 hauled passenger train.
(3) The tour was actually booked 2x76 and one of the committee members of the LCGB stated that one of the 76s must be 76025, however the powers that be mis-understood the message and thought they said just 76025 must haul the train.
(2) David Hills believed and Nick Lawford confirms the train should have been routed via Stockport but was diverted, with Stockport passengers catching a DMU to Guide Bridge.
(4) Paul Bridge comments: on arrival at Rotherwood sidings there were 3 locos waiting for the tour; 31116+31227 and also a boilered peak (a Tinsley-allocated 45/0). Apparently we were offered the choice of the 45/0 or the 31s.
