Notes :
(1) Paul Green comments: the stock was shunted to Crewe Jn and back into station by 08222 - some passengers stayed on the train to score the 08 for haulage.
(2) Changeover point noted as Willesden, but believed to have been Mitre bridge Jn...confirmation required.
(3) 4079 & 4472 were reported shared with 'The Great Western', also organised by FSS the same day, however it has since been suggested that 4079 hauled the other tour from Newport to Shrewsbury and back and that 4472 was not seen all day?

Is this photo of 4079 leading 4472 heading south past Pontrilas a positioning
special or another railtour in its own right (on the same day 1023 'Western
Fusilier' was seen at Newport on 1Z75...was that this train?)
