Notes :
(1) For visits to R&ER and Steamtown Carnforth.
(2) Diversion due to engineering (bridge) works at Ratho Jn.
(3) Bill Jamieson comments: I remember it being said at the time that this would be the last passenger train to use the down WCML platform at Carnforth. As the timetable change the previous weekend had seen the cessation of WCML trains calling at Carnforth, this was doubtless correct, barring another special doing so.
