Notes :
(1) Reported as being formed using a 2-car Derby unit (set 108, Allerton
depot) & a 3-car BRCW unit (Newton Heath depot).
(2) Note spelling of Festiniog in the tour
name - on the booking form it was with one F only. At Blaenau Ffestiniog (upon
return from
Trawsfynydd) passengers were to join buses to Portmadoc for a
steam-hauled run on the
Ffestiniog Railway to Dduallt and back. Buses then returned passengers to
Blaenau Ffestiniog for the train home.
(3) On the return journey the train was booked to take the Manchester curve, run
past the station and reverse into platform 2. (Platform 4 was unusable).
