Notes :
(1) This six coach train provided the participants with a day out behind steam power over scenic routes, and for those that were interested, a tour of Gateshead shed. The light load and easy timings did not provide the locomotive with much of a challenge. The heavy snow that had fallen overnight led to thoughts of an interesting return trip over Ais Gill, but as the train ventured north the snow disappeared!
