(1) 1247 on rear.
(2) A stop was to be made between Horsted Keynes and Sheffield Park for 'Dr. Beeching to alight to quickly open this new Bluebell Railway Station constructed by members'. Passengers were not permitted to alight at this stop however. On arrival at Sheffield Park passengers were requested to remain on the platform whilst Dr Beeching was welcomed by the Bluebell Railway Chairman John Leroy.
