Route :

Loco Route
31577 London Waterloo - Clapham Junction [P4 or P5] - Putney - South Acton - Hendon - Luton Midland Road - Flitwick
31577 Flitwick - (?reverse of outward route?) - London Waterloo

Notes :
(1) Mike Morant adds: I have no photographic record of this tour but I was a passenger on it. The ramblers disgorged at Flitwick for rambles through the brambles to Woburn Park but the hardcore gricers stayed on the train which proceeded sedately to Bedford (Midland). 31577 was serviced at the nearby shed which is where the bulk of the gricers went to. However, I was with a small group of track-bashers and we ambled along to St. John's station where we caught a train to Cambridge hauled by a D16 4-4-0. On our return, also behind a Claud, we had to scamper at a great rate to the Midland station where we caught the returning empty E.C.S. working to Flitwick.
