(3) Booked route was via the Quarry Line but diverted via Redhill for an unknown reason.
(4) Delays in the Newhaven Harbour area were caused by signalling problems.
(5) 70013 suffered valve problems and was heavy assisted by 33207 on the return leg from Hastings.
