Notes (from Alan Sheppard) :
(1) There was a test tram out on the system running around full of sand bags (for load weight) which had arrived at Hucknall shortly before us, forcing the service tram into the Non-Preferred East Platform & the test tram was released before the service tram so we went into the Preferred West Platform (We were booked into the Non-Preferred East Platform). A few people did jump onto the service tram to be picked up at Butlers Hill (not me though).
(2) At the end of the tour it was agreed that anyone wishing to return to Wilkinson Street (P+R) could remain on board the ECS trip back north (about 30 took up this offer with about 10 leaving at Old Market Square and a few more left at Nottingham Trent University). When we arrived at Wilkinson Street (the Northbound Platform), it was decided that we could remain on for the reversal over the crossover to arrive at the Southbound Platform. The trams from the South have to use Wilkinson Street Crossover & access the Depot from the West, due to the direct curve from the South East to the Depot not being available for use at present.
