Notes:
(1) Train booked to reverse at Thornton Fields headshunt, but after a delay on arrival to Thornton Fields C.S. (10.16 ~ 10.26) awaiting the point clips to arrive, it was found that they were the wrong type of point clips ?? and train continued into No.1 Road and reversed there!
(2) One version of the timing sheet had tour running into Wherstead Road E.C.D. before returning to Halifax Jn to reverse again to take the line to Ipswich
(3) The following is subject to confirmation/correction : it is understood the train had to reverse at Robertsbridge owing to a fatality in Bo-Peep tunnel.
(4) Route confirmation required. Alan Sheppard believes that the train was terminated at Robertsbridge, with the journey via Tonbridge (rev) & Ashford run as ECS only.
