The Steamy Affairs Website carried the following explanation:
Due to an administrative error by the company responsible for the steam
locomotive’s safety case we regret the inability to provide our steam
locomotive for the tour on the 29th December. We have no alternative but to
reschedule this train for a revised date in the spring. As soon as the new date
is confirmed we will write to you. We will refund you in full if the new date is
not acceptable to you. Apologies to all our passengers for the postponement due
to circumstances outside our control.
