Notes :
(1) Howard Richardson comments that the train was two hours late leaving Birmingham. A further delay at Carlisle (due to passenger requiring medical attention) meant the tour ran between three and four hours late and the booked route via the Leamside line was abandoned as a result.
(2) Page originally showed (in error?) as 37293 Swindon to Glasgow Central for 47114 to Edinburgh Waverley and unidentified forward.
