(1) Advertising leaflet describes this as "one of a series of excursions organised and operated by LINKWISE TOURS with a sales stand and raffle facilities on the train provided by Midland & Great Northern Joint Railway Society Ltd. Profits made by the society go towards helping steam railway preservation on the North Norfolk Railway between Sheringham and Holt. A free coach was also available between Cambridge & Ely.
(2) Free time could be spent in York, Malton or Scarborough. Optional tours:
Tour A : NYMR. Leaving the train at Malton for buses to Pickering for a round trip on the NYMR.
Tour B : Scenic North York Moors tour. By coach from Malton.
Tour C : Eden Camp. By coach from Malton.
