Notes :
(1) Route confirmation required - above is from booked timings. The 1984 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' series was advertised to run out of London Euston every Thursday from 28th June to 13th September, however this running of the tour is assumed to be an additional service which ran on the August Bank Holiday Monday. A similar service was booked to run out of London Kings Cross every Sunday from July 1st to September 9th.
(2) Loco confirmation is required; this tour page has been built from an undated 'Cumbrian Mountain Express' Thursday/ex-Euston itinerary with the locos written in, combined with the dated ticket (see below) in the same collection which originally belonged to contributor John Broderick - it is presumed they belonged together although confirmation of this is required.
(3) The CME undated timing sheet suggests the Thursday/ex-Euston train was booked for load 13 however the marked copy seen by the Webmaster, believed to be applicable to this date, has the 13 crossed out and 10 written in.
