Notes :
(1) The tour was booked via Selby Canal Curve on its way into York but went
straight up the then-new main line. Following complaints at York, a two car unit
was borrowed to run round the curve during the scheduled lunch break, to the
chagrin of those who had headed for the pub on arrival at York. I don't recall
why we couldn't use the main set for this, perhaps it had gone for fuelling?
(2) Route is unconfirmed before Doncaster and after Wakefield Kirkgate.
