(a) Delayed start from Euston due to the failure of an incoming train carrying participants so held to make connection.
(b) Omitted pick up stop at Loughborough - Train held at Toton Centre to await Loughborough passengers who arrived by British Rail mini-bus.
(c) Due to excessive late running, arrangements had been made for passengers to alight at Liverpool Lime Street and return to Euston on 19.00 Inter-City departure.
