(1) This nine coach tour had been booked for 55002, which on the day failed on shed. The fastest running, despite being routed over much of the West of England mainline, actually took place on the SR between Basingstoke & Woking. Original BR advertising (in their 'Farewell to the Deltic' brochure) suggested the train was to terminate at Finsbury Park.
