(1) Booked timings are from BR special traffic notice, which differed slightly from the public version.
(2) This was a “one off” promoted by staff in the Divisional Manager, Doncaster’s office.  Despite running on Thursday evening, it was well patronised, for there had been no passenger train over the South Yorks Joint Line for some time.  The curve from Decoy Yard to Low Ellers remains very rare! A BR Eastern Souvenir Booklet costing 10p and containing "detailed Timings and History of Route" was issued on the train under the auspices of the "Doncaster Division Merrymakers".
