Notes :
(1) 46012 failed at Crewe. Alan Gears (tour organiser) comments: 46012 failed at Crewe and I was stranded there trying to recover the headboard. B.R. stopped a London-Manchester express so that I could catch up with the train at Dinting.
(2) 47 failed at Derby (Richard Matthews mentions seeing sparks coming from above the fuel tank)?
(3) Passengers for Honiton, Axminster and Yeovil Junction returned by coach from Taunton due to engineering works.
(4) Originally uploaded as routed via Pontefract Baghill & Moorthorpe but Richard Matthews disputes this and comments that the timing sheet shows the train routed via Normanton both outward and return. Third opinion anyone?
