Notes :
Gregory Beecroft adds: It was a superb sunny day.  Timekeeping was reasonable, so far as I can remember.  The timing sheet, handed out on the train, indicates that it was a revised schedule received from British Rail on 15 June 1978 (i.e. two days earlier).  There is also a note: "It is regretted that Ministry of Transport permission to visit Crianlarich Lower station is not available for this tour and the train will remain on the high level line for splitting, run-round, remarshalling and watering stock".
