Notes :
(1) Dick Franklin comments: On arrival at Wolverhampton buses were taken to the Severn Valley Railway; some to Bewdley for a one way journey to Bridgnorth, some to Bridgnorth for a one way journey to Bewdley. Both sets of buses returned to Wolverhampton.
(2) Dick Franklin comments: On the return I left the train at Oxford. The train was booked for a Class 40 from Wolverhampton to Shrewsbury and a Class 52 from Oxford to Birmingham New Street thence AC Electric. Kevin Moore (on the tour) confirms the use of a class 52 from Oxford to Birmingham New Street, but does not have a record of which one.
