(1) Route & loco confirmation required; the class 24's were reported working the outward leg (from ???) and 300 was seen on the train in the Shrewsbury area. Special organised in association with the T.R.P.S. Annual General Meeting. There was a connecting train to Aberystwyth and a run over the VoR was possible, with bus transfer from Devil's Bridge and
Abergynolwyn (this allowed for some passengers to visit the VoR first and others the TR). Those attending the AGM could make the round trip from Towyn to Abergynolwyn.
