Notes :
(1) There was a suggestion from Trevor Gregg (from his memory) that the train
did not go into Edinburgh but this has since been discounted by Alan Walker who
also travelled on the train and comments: Fare was £2 adult, I travelled
throughout. Permanent notes written shortly after getting back home and still
available. As extra circumstantial evidence, during the Edinburgh stop I had
time to walk to see the outside of Holyrood House and return via Corporation bus
EWS848D on route 1!. Newcastle arrival (termination of the tour) allowed me to
catch E51510 on 2D76 back to the coast at booked time 18.35
