(1) Route confirmation required. Originally uploaded as organised by the
Gainsborough Model Railway Society starting at Darlington. 4472 suffered
a blown superheater element at/near Newcastle on the return and assistance was
provided by D9007 'Pinza'.
The Chronicles of
Napier Website has D9007 only working as far as Darlington - did the train
terminate there, or continue to Stockton (if so, with what traction)?
