Webmasters note: The above photo was purchased off e-bay by Jim Porter and on the back it carried the words "Waterloo 09-07-1967 Last steam Service" which, from research on the Internet, Jim identified as the 14.09 Weymouth to Waterloo. John Clifford however has commented: "I was on the 14.09 Weymouth - Waterloo on 9.7.67 and no headboard was carried although there were some chalked inscriptions on the engine smoke box door" (published photographs of the this service further confirm the above photo is not of that service train). The headboard suggests this was in fact a photo of this tour - but can anyone else positively confirm this?
