These are service trains rather than a specially chartered train however has been included as some published sources suggest it was a railtour.

Loco Used 48760

Route :

Loco Route
48760 08.15d Bath Green Park - ??? - Templecombe
48760 16.18d Templecombe - ??? - Bath Green Park

Notes :
(1) Initially offered as photographic evidence of a railtour (seen at Shepton Mallet), Brian Ransley comments: This engine was used on service trains that day, not a rail tour, although I have got a book that also gets this wrong. 0815 Bath Green Park – Templecombe and 1618 return. Picture taken at Shepton Mallet was on the latter. John Debens confirms he has seen photographic evidence of the train carrying an O.U.R.S. headboard. Was it the case that the O.U.R.S. simply booked a group party on these service trains but asked that the headboard be displayed on the loco?
