Farewell to the Brecon Lines

Notes :
(1) Seen at Welshpool hauled by 46509 & 46504. Peter Fleming comments: The route was as displayed on the ticket. Stops were made at Moat Lane, Builth Wells, and of course Brecon. The motive power from Shrewsbury to Brecon was, as stated, 46504 and 46509. I have no notes of any other. If used throughout they must have worked tender first at least to Hereford - unless turned at Brecon. I have no record of the route through Hereford. Reversal may have been involved.
