(1) Advertised as a Ramblers Excursion to Haverhill, Birdbrook, Yeldham, Sible & Castle Hedingham and Halstead, there was a mid-afternoon extension for non-ramblers to Chappel & Wakes Colne (Marks Tey?) and back with photo stops at Earls Colne and White Colne stations on the outward journey.
