(1) Three coaches housed the 150 participants on the ninety mile tour, although it took over two hours to complete the first ten miles! Confirmation of all reversal points is required. Peter Darke has photos in his collection showing the train at Canon's Marsh Goods Line (loco bunker-first) and Fishponds (chimney-first). On the ticket in Peter Darke's collection Berkeley Road and Bristol Temple Meads at the end of the route have been crossed out - reason unknown.
