(1) Pre-tour advertising suggested the route after High Wycombe was to be; Bourne End - Maidenhead - Southall - Drayton Green Halt - Greenford South Loop Jn - Greenford East Loop Jn - North Acton - Old Oak Common West Jn - Old Oak Common East Jn - Kensington Olympia however a report in a subsequent SLS journal confirms the train went via Gerrards Cross. That the train is described as having 'concluded the circuit by burrowing under the main tracks out of Paddington top reach Kensington Olympia' suggests it did not go via Neasden Jn per the ticket, but 'direct' from South Ruislip and the 1964-closed line between North Acton and Viaduct Jn.
