Then via Dartford, Eltham, Lewisham, Nunhead, Factory Jn, Chelsea Bridge, Willesden Junction, North London Line, Stratford, Forest Gate Jn, Barking and Tilbury Town to Tilbury International Railfreight Terminal, and then via Grays (reverse) and Thames Haven Junction to London Gateway, returning via Grays, Upminster, Barking, Stratford, North London Line, Willesden Junction, Chelsea Bridge, Clapham Junction, Richmond Bridge, Twickenham, Teddington, Kingston Bridge, New Malden and Wimbledon to terminate at London Waterloo. Change was forced on the organisers due to a structure on the route no longer being available for loco-hauled trains due to corrosion.
