Notes : 
(1) John Clifford comments: At Ruddington the miniature railways were running and there were open top bus trips around the local area. On the return we were delayed between the Midland Main Line and the Hounslow loop for reasons I did not discover. At New Kew Jn we were held for the 18.13 Weybridge - Waterloo stopper to proceed which meant a late arrival at Clapham Junction, where I left the tour. I understand that the return leg ran via Penge East rather than Catford and made up some time.
