(1) Route confirmation required - above is from booked timings. 44871 replaced 5690 'Leander' and 6201 'Princess Elizabeth', neither of which were available. Departure from Liverpool in the morning was severely delayed due to the failure of 47500 at Crewe with the ECS. Departure was not until 13.06 and York was not reached until 17.45 - just as most of the Christmas Market (and the NRM) was closing! It is understood that the return leg, also booked for haulage by 44871, may have been diesel-hauled (confirmation required).
(2) 57313 on rear (provided banking assistance at least between Manchester Victoria and Miles Platting).
