Notes :
(1) As an alternative to visiting the Lincoln Christmas Market, there was a coach from, (and back to), Market Rasen to Ludborough to travel on the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway. A private charter was operated along the "almost a mile long" line, using D3167, (08102), at the North end, followed by 13444+5158+9393, with 0-4-0ST No.6, (Robert Heath : built 1886), at the South end. Rod Miebs adds: The coach returned passengers to Barnetby, rather than Market Rasen, as the steward on the coach was aware of the problems at Immingham & there being little or no shelter at Market Rasen for a long wait. The Market Rasen stop was omitted to save time.
