confirmation also required - believed to have been the same as witnessed by
Robin Webster the previous day.
Robin Webster comments regarding the previous
days trips:
As in previous years, one loco per train, the other following light engine.
However, at least on the up train I was on, the light engine did not follow the
same route but went direct Pitsea - Upminster and so arrived at Barking first
and was waiting across the platform to follow us. Was this the same arrangement
on this day?
