(1) Route & loco confirmation required - Nick Bartlett comments: I was travelling behind 91016 on a KX to Leeds train on the Down Fast line, when we overtook 90034 on a special. As this was required at the time, I bailed out at Peterborough and waited for the special to catch up. I think it was a Hertfordshire Railtour. I took 90034 Peterborough - York, where it was replaced by 66030 York - Pontefract (Baghill or Monkhill?) - Skipton, where I got off to do the K&WVR Diesel Gala. The special then continued via the S&C. I assume it was one of Hertfordshire's standard day out over the S&C tours, returning via ECML?
